Everett Brooks, Vice President Government & Strategic Account Sales, Avocent
Everett Brooks is responsible for sales and business development activity for Avocent government and digital extension solutions. Before joining Avocent in 2002, Mr. Brooks worked for nine years at ADTRAN, Inc. during which time he served in various sales and marketing roles, including director of market development for the enterprise networks division. His responsibilities included strategic direction and business development activities. He frequently served as a speaker or panelist at global conferences, industry seminars and trade shows. Brooks also worked as a sales engineer with Hewlett-Packard from 1988 to 1993 with a primary focus on WAN/LAN test equipment sales.

Martin Curley, Senior Principal Engineer and Global Director of IT Innovation, Intel
Martin Curley manages a network of Intel IT Innovation Centers developing advanced IT solutions. Previously Mr. Curley held a number of IT Management positions for Intel including director of IT strategy and technology based in Sacramento, California and Fab14 automation manager based in Dublin, Ireland. Mr. Curley has also held IT management positions at General Electric in Ireland and Philips in the Netherlands. He is author of Managing Information Technology for Business Value published by Intel Press, January 2004, and now in its third reprint.

Richard Curran, Intel EMEA Director Digital Enterprise Group
Intel EMEA Director Digital Enterprise Group Richard Curran is responsible for the Intel Digital Enterprise Group in EMEA that encompasses Intel’s entire server and client platforms in Intel’s corporate, SMB and SME segments. The enterprise business for Intel is a multibillion dollar business in EMEA and strives to enhance Intel’s enterprise markets throughout EMEA through innovative technologies and partnerships.
Prior to this role, Mr. Curran co-led the Customer Solutions Marketing and Sales teams across EMEA for corporate accounts, corporate system integrators and ISVs. This team works with organizations to establish best technology usage models for optimum business efficiencies, both for present day requirements and for future growth through business transformation, focusing on key vertical markets, including telco, government, commercial and technical markets. Mr. Curran also previously led the Intel Services Organization in EMEA, which provides partners and customers with a unique value proposition based on the infrastructure services supporting Intel architectures. Mr. Curran has also held positions at Compaq and Concurrent Computer Italy.

Jay Heiser, Gartner Research VP
Garnter Resarch Vice President Jay Heiser lives and works Egham in the U.K. He covers security and privacy and regulatory compliance issues. He has 18 years of industry experience and has been with Gartner for two years. Prior to Gartner, Mr. Heiser was an associate director of Group Information Security at UBS, a principal consultant with the International Network Services Group at Lucent Technologies and a product manager at The Santa Cruz Operation, Inc. He has also served as an editorial advisory board member for Information Security magazine and is the recipient of the Presidentas award from (ISC)2. He holds an MBA from the Garvin School of International Management, is a certified information system security professional (CISSP) and speaks both English and German. |

Thomas Davis, vice president of Engineering, LANDesk
Thomas Davis oversees the development of all LANDesk® product lines and international engineering teams. For 11 years at Intel Corporation, Davis served as engineering director and CTO of the Software Products and Services Division, managing a staff of more than 100 engineers and product managers. He was instrumental in driving Intel's definition of the systems management space. He also served as engineering director for Intel’s Internet Management and Appliances Division. Davis has also held engineering management positions within Intel’s sustaining engineering and testing/validation organizations. This early immersion in QA strongly influenced Davis’ strategic vision and forms the basis of his emphasis on “designed-in-quality.”

Andrew Ruse, Vice President of EMEA, LANDesk
Andrew Ruse is responsible for LANDesk’s revenue generating activities and sales channels in Europe. Mr. Ruse oversees all LANDesk operations in LANDesk Europe, including sales, support, field engineering, marketing, legal and channel. He brings more than 10 years of experience with LANDesk to Europe. Beginning in 1996, he was attracted to Intel to support a product which he had used for two years as a system administrator. Through his years at Intel, Mr. Ruse was responsible for driving many of the innovative features that LANDesk has today. With several patent awards, he is a true technologist at heart. His contributions at Intel, LANDesk, and now Avocent, include technology advancement, driving new business ideas and managing an extremely important geography for LANDesk. Mr. Ruse’s number-one goal is to enable the LANDesk channel and customers to be successful. |

Dave Taylor, vice president of worldwide marketing, LANDesk
As vice president of worldwide marketing, Dave R. Taylor leads LANDesk’s global marketing efforts, including product management, demand generation, partner marketing, events and public and industry analyst relations. During its first two years of operation, Taylor drove the revitalization of LANDesk’s channel business and strategic relationships. In addition, he is a 13 year veteran of Intel, managing product marketing, sales and geographic expansion. Taylor spent five years in Europe, three years overseeing the launch of LANDesk® products in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and two years as general manager of Intel’s LANDesk European division, driving 40% annual sales growth and driving LANDesk’s European sales to approximately 40% of worldwide sales. |

As the leader of LANDesk’s management team and employees, Joe Wang sets the vision for the entire company. Wang is a driven, results-oriented executive with a distinguished track record in the technology industry—a record that earned him an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2005 Award. His nearly two decades of software expertise include executive-level positions in every phase of corporate structure, including general management, product management and engineering management. |

Goran Wibran, Director of Affiliated Software, Lenovo
Goran Wibran is a Director of Affiliated Software for Lenovo International, based at Lenovo development and research center in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, US. His mission is to help Lenovo International to create solutions for cost and resource clients management, IT process automation and IT system integration. He is one of IBM's leading experts on deploying and managing PC-based products. In his leadership role, he works with the IBM Development teams to create the next-generation PC management solutions. His latest project was to lead the development and implementation of LANDesk Management Suite For ThinkVantage Technologies. He simultaneously continues his work as a consultant, in helping Lenovo International customers to develop and implement automated IT processes around the world. |

Barrie Scott, Henley Training Associates
Prior to becoming a professional trainer, Barrie Scott was a sales and marketing director with a multinational Blue Chip company. He was directly responsible for sales and marketing training for over 400 staff (1,100 indirectly). He has also served as a training and development manager for a major international oil company.
For the past 15 years, Barrie has been providing energetic training solutions to meet practical issues. Barrie still gets a ‘Buzz’ from helping people develop their interpersonal skills, whether in sales, negotiation, leadership or management. He is currently Reed Learning’s lead trainer on sales and negotiating skills programmes in the U.K.
Barrie will be presenting an interactive session on sales and negotiation skills for partners.
